Children - their life and work in Galicia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in a comparative perspective

Abstract

The aim of this paper  is to to analyze conditions at the turn of the 20th century in Galicia and their position in the labor market today in developing countries. The author examines the concept of child labor and its role in agriculture, services, and industry, and then compares it with contemporary data.
